Who is this Workshop for? (Prerequisites)
Those working towards a CGC certification, or the next levels of CGC the AKC Community Canine (Advanced)*, AKC urban CGC.*
*please let us know if you are going for the next level titles.
About this Workshop
We are offering a day of AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) Testing for all levels. AKC’s CGC program is a ten-skill training program that’s open to all dogs, including purebred and mixed breeds. It focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community.
The workshop will include a 15 minute test. Please be prepared to show up five minutes early to prepare. We will offer all levels of testing during this workshop.
If you’re not sure your dog is ready, we welcome your attendance and you can use the test as a tool to gauge what you still need to work on.
