The following policies applies to all Happy Dog Institute clients, including public and private training, day training, dog walking and day visits.
Happy Dog Institute will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. However, I recognize that Happy Dog Institute is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Dog Institute of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under Happy Dog Institute instruction or control and under my own care as a result of following training instructions. I have been told by Happy Dog Institute and understand the inherent risks in owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others.
PUBLIC CLASS POLICIES
1. Payment Policy: Payment is to be made in full upon registering for class in order to secure a spot. Checks, credit cards in person or via PayPal, cash and money orders are welcome. Checks can be made payable to Happy Dog Institute.
2. Cancellation Policy: Happy Dog Institute is unable to offer refunds, so please plan carefully when scheduling class. In order to be able to keep our classes small, we are not able to offer makeup sessions. Missed classes can be made up on a private basis for our regular private session fee.
PRIVATE TRAINING & BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION POLICIES
1. Payment Policy: Payment is to be made in full at the initial consult or first training session, or as determined by Happy Dog Institute. Happy Dog Institute is a small business and is therefore unable to offer refunds for services, so please plan carefully. Checks, credit cards in person or via PayPal, cash and money orders are welcome. Checks can be made payable to Happy Dog Institute.
2. Cancellation Policy: All appointments must be cancelled with 48-hour notice. Missed appointments, or those canceled with less than 48-hours notice will be charged a full session fee.
